Our Past Trip last Labor Day
This Labor Day weekend, leave the fog, crowds, and long traffic jams behind! Sunny summer days and balmy nights await you on our magical private beachfront estate, along the banks of the beautiful Stanislaus River.
Discover sandy beaches, hammocks & rope swings galore, exotic statues, a temple made of redwood trees, plants carved into topiaries, and more surprises at every turn.
Enjoy conscious and ecstatic dances, meditation, gentle rafting, inspirational playshops, hot showers (and real bathrooms), hearty organic meals, optional massage and more.
Singles, couples and families are all welcome to play in this green, lush paradise, less than two hours east of Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay.
Bask in gentle currents, and let the river transform you. Nurture your body, open your heart, soothe your soul and connect with people of like mind and spirit. We’re along the road from San Francisco to Yosemite, so you might include a trip to the Park in your plans.
Beginners welcome. This gentle river and all activities are for novice and experienced alike.
Connect with our Creative, Open-Hearted, Funtastic Community!
“The ultimate weekend … Incredible food, a location that defies description, activities that are as deep as they are joyful. I’m deeply moved and grateful to have been there.” — L.Z., Corte Madera, CA

Relax in a riverside hammock, and listen for the conch sound that calls you in for dinner.
Sign up for 4, 6, or 8 hours of work exchange for a discount of $60, $90 or $120, respectively. Shifts include on-site registration, meal prep, meal clean-up, parking, etc.
Contact us for sign-up instructions before you register (with August Work Exchange in subject line). After your shifts have been confirmed, you will be sent a discount code to apply during on-line registration.
Once you arrive, you may choose to volunteer two or more hours of your time to meal prep or post-meal clean-up. Many past attendees have found this to be a great way to connect with others, while reaping the rewards of contributing to the Community.
Guidelines (alcohol, drugs and ...)
Get high on life and nature; leave drugs & alcohol behind. Smoking and campfires in designated areas only. Swimsuits please, at the beach and on the river.
We have space for a limited number of kids, ages 7-12, in our part-time co-op kids camp, on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration requires prior approval.
The venue requires that children under 18 be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times while on the property. Our part-time kids camp for ages 7-12 allows for a measure of independence for kids and their parents during camp hours. A few children under 7, and teens over 12, may be permitted with parental supervision throughout the weekend.
Our menu includes organic, locally harvested produce, some poultry and fish, organic Artisan snacks and goodies. Our conscious caterers provide a globally inspired menu that both delights the palette and supports your intention to nourish body and soul.
All our menus include delicious, satisfying options for raw, vegan and gluten-free preferences. (On your registration form, please indicate any specific preferences, food allergies and sensitivities. Our ability to customize for individuals is limited, so please bring what you need to supplement your meals.).
