Gail completed her CMT training at San Anselmo's Alive & Well Institute for Conscious Bodywork in 1995. Since 1992, massage therapy has been the platform where Donna brings her desire to heal to the body/mind system. Donna attends to an array of bodily conditions including: neck and back issues, muscle tension/pain, sciatica, psoas problems, trauma-physical and emotional, digestion-physical and emotional, abdominal and Lymphatic congestion. Donna also has a long relationship with yoga and Ayurveda, and can prescribe yoga postures for everyday conditions. She is certified in deep bodywork and swedish modalities, and is skilled in lymphatic massage, prenatal, Chi Nei Tsang and Hot Stones. Chair massage is an easy way to introduce someone to massage and it can be an efficient way to get relaxed or melt those tensions away. Using a light or deeper touch, much can be done to release stress patterns. I started a couple of decades ago and have progressed to other forms of bodywork on the table, such as CranioSacaral therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Lymphatic drainage, Mechanical Link and Feldenkrais. I use these techniques to let the body lead me to where the imbalance is. By releasing restrictions with gentle manipulation and through breath, awareness, insight, and encouraging letting go, both physically and emotionally, an equilibrium can be attained.
